Breaking News: Fight week continues in Plymouth, Massachusetts today as fighters hit the scales ahead of tomorrows Cage Titans 58, a day/night doubleheader. Everyone is a buzz, it's St.Paddy's day on the South Shore as New England MMA prepares for tomorrows events. Everything was going according to plan in the South Shore Sportfighting camp of Kristina "The Meat Grinder" Katsikis (1-2) as she was ready to hit the scales and end forgetful 22 month layoff from MMA competition. There was only one problem, something Katsikis had no control over, her opponent; Carolyn Biskup never boarded her flight in her home state of Michigan, and did not appear at weigh ins this morning.
Katsikis took to her personal social media to air her frustrations with the situation as she now sees her fourth fight fall through since she last competed inside the MMA cage. Although hearts are heavy for Katsikis and her team from South Shore, not all is lost this weekend, Katsikis will now be competing in a grappling match tomorrow at Cage Titans 58, a match that will now take place as part of Cage Titans afternoon showing. Katsikis will face off with Sarah Hunt who trains out of The Academy, in Portland, Maine.
