Brody McDougal vs. Mark Murphy
170 lb Muay Thai

Round 1:

McDougal lands early with front kicks and then a big right hand that backs up Murphy. Murphy fires back with a body shot. Nice left hook from Murphy, but McDougal answers with a big right hand. McDougal gets a strong clinch and lands a barrage of knees. The ref steps in due to an illegal knee to the head and takes a point away from McDougal. These guys are going at it. McDougal is landing the bigger shots, but Murphy is firing back. Another big front kick from McDougal before the end of the round. That shot has been money for him.

9-9 round

Round 2:

An early barrage from McDougal sends Murphy to the canvas. Huge knee to the body from McDougal and he follows up with a big combo to score another knockdown. Murphy is back up, but not for long as McDougal scores a 3rd e knockdown and the fight is over!!

Alvin McLorrain (0-2) vs. Greg Jones (0-0)
Lightweight

Round 1:

Body kick from Mclorrain and he follows up with a head kick. Jones appears to be hurt, but he shoots a double leg and gets it. McLorrain is inexplicably holding onto a guillotine while Jones is in mount as Jones lands body shots. Now Jones is landing unanswered ground and pound from mount and the referee is forced to stop the fight. Great heart and grit from Jones to overcome some early adversity.

Result: Greg Jones defeats Alvin McLorrain via 1st round TKO


Chandler Donati (0-0) vs. Miguel Sevasin (1-2-1)
160 lbs Catchweight

Round 1:

Donati shoots immediately, but Sevasin defends and they are locked up against the the cage. Donati switches to a single leg and lands a huge slam. He lands some ground and pound and attempts a mounted guillotine before switching to Svasin's back. Sevasin scrambles and is now in Donati's guard. Sevasin postures up and lands a few ground strikes which draws a big reaction from the crowd. The round ends with Sevasin on top.

10-9 Donati

Round 2:

Big overhand from Donati misses and Sevasin responds with a combination which forces a shot from Donati. Sevasin defends and lands more big strikes, but Donati ties him up against the cage. Sevasin breaks away and lands again, and Donati shoots. Donati looks exhausted, but he lands a takedown. Sevasin locks up a triangle and gets the tap.

Result: Miguel Sevasin defeats Chandler Donati vis triangle choke




Anthony Rivera (0-2, Thunder) vs Joe Poirier (2-1, Lauzon MMA)
Amateur Bantamweight

Round 1:

Poirier drops Rivera with a big right hand early and locks up a standing guillotine. Rivera launches himself off the fence in an attempt to escape and they go crashing to the canvas. Poirier has now locked the guillotine in tighter while in mount and gets the tap.

Result: Joe Poirier defeats Anthony Rivera via 1st round guillotine choke.



Mario Vazquez (0-0, Fusion X-cel) vs Jake Dillon (1-1, USMMA)
Amateur Bantamweight

Round 1:

Immediate clinch and Vazquez scores a takedown. Dillon gets up, but Vazquez lands 3 big slams in a row. Dillon i sup again and separates, but Vazquez lands a head kick before scoring another takedown and taking Dillon's back. Vazquez is now landing ground and pound, but Dillon escapes and they are back standing briefly before Vazquez drags Dillon to the mat once again.

Round 2:

Dillon scores a takedown after catching a kick, but Vazquez immediately reverses and ends up on top. Dillon is back up, but not for long as Vazquez scores another takedown and transitions to the back. Dillon is flattened out now and Vazquez lands a few light punches. Vazquez in mount now, landing ground and pound. The round ends with Vazquez on Dillon's back.

Round 3:

Glancing head kick lands for Vazquez and Dillon answers with a few big punches. Vazquez finishes another takedown. Vazquez is in Dillon's half guard and controlling him, but not doing much damage. Dillon manages to get to his feet, but Vazquez drags him down again and lands in full mount. The round ends with Vazquez landing ground and pound.

Result: Mario Vazquez defeats Jake Dillon via unanimous decision


Lucas Remsen (1-0, Marandola Martial Arts) vs Niko Mavrommatis (1-0, Red Seal)
Amateur Muay Thai (150 lbs.)

Round 1:

Both guys come out swinging. Remsen lands a solid knee to the body. They trade leg kicks. Glancing right from Mavrommatis is answered by a left from Remsen. Big right from Niko followed by a solid combination. Another knee to the body from Remsen and two big right hands from Niko which are answered by a strong left from Remsen.

10-9 Mavrommatis

Round 2:

They come out swinging again. Remsen is starting to back Mavrommatis up with knees and kicks. more knees from Remsen and Mavrommatis looks to be fading slightly. Huge spinning backfist for Remsen. The knees to the body are starting to add up, but Mavrommatis fires back with big punches.

10-9 Remsen

Round 3:

These guys are trying to take each other's heads off and the crowd loves it. They clinch and trade knees before breaking away and launching bombs again. Remsen forces Mavrommatis against the cage and they trade 3 spinning backfists. These guys are animals. Another spinning backfist from Niko and they trade more haymakers. I'm losing my mind along with the rest of the crowd. Holy moly, what a fight!!!!

Result: Lucas Remsen defeats Niko Mavrommatis via split decision


Angel Acevedo (1-1, Iron Body MMA) vs Andrew Valdina (3-2, Lauzon MMA)
Amateur Bantamweight

Round 1:

Feeling out process on the feet and Valdina lands a combination. Valdina catches a kick and lands a takedown. He is straight into crucifix position and he's pounding away. The referee steps in to call a stop to the fight.

Result: Andrew Valdina defeats Angel Acevedo via 1st round TKO


Jeff Soivilien (5-4, South Shore Sportfighting) vs Hassan Graham (2-0, G&G)
Amateur Heavyweight Title (Vacant)

Round 1:

Immediate clinch from Soivilien followed by some knees to the body. Graham forces Soivilien into the cage, but not much is happening thus far. More knees from Soivilien and Graham picks up a single leg as Soivilien defends. They separate briefly and Soivilien forces another clinch.

10-9 Soivilien

Round 2:

They trade to start the round and Graham lands a good shot, but Soivilien isn't bothered by it. Soivilien forces another clinch and presses Graham into the cage where he lands knees to the body. Graham lands a takedown into side control and lands some ground and pound. Soivilien scrambles to his knees before the round ends.

10-9 Graham

Round 3:

Leg kick from Soiviliien is answered by a right hand from Graham. Soivilien forces Graham into the cage and lands more knees to the body before they break. Stiff jab from Graham. Big punches from Graham, but Soivilien keeps coming forward. More big shots from Graham. Knees to the body from Soivilien to end the round.

10-9 Graham

Round 4:

Graham lands a few hard punches, but Soivilien gets into the clinch again and forces Graham into the cage. Takedown for Soivilien and Graham grabs the cage which allows him to recover. Soivlilien lands some ground and pound and Graham grabs the cage again. There probably should have been a point deduction there. Another huge takedown for Soivilien and he's on Graham's back landing short punches. Round ends with Soivilien in a dominant position landing ground and pound.

10-9 Soivilien

Round 5:

Jab from Graham. Nice combination from Graham and Soivilien shrugs it off. The man has a large head and he can take a shot. Graham is moving backward, but Soivilien isn't capitalizing. Clinch from Soivilien and uppercuts land for Graham.

Result: Hassan Graham defeats Jeff Soivilien via unanimous decision.

Kylie O'Hearn (1-2, Glory MMA) vs Gabriella Gulfin (4-3, Class One MMA)
Women's Flyweight

Round 1:

Good exchange on the feet. Big left from the clinch by Gulfin and she lands a takedown. O'Hearn is back up, and breaks away. They are trading on the feet with both fighters landing. Body shot from Gulfin and O'Hearn answers, but Gulfin lands a solid right hand. Big knee to the body from O'Hearn and Gulfin grabs a body lock as O'Hearn hand fights. They are trading again with neither fighter willing to take a backward step. Solid right from O'Hearn is answered by a left from Gulfin. Gulfin grabs a single leg, but O'Hearn defends.

10-9 Gulfin

Round 2:

Right/left combo from Gulfin and she lands again upstairs after throwing to the body. O'Hearn is trying to maintain range witih her jab, but Gulfin is still landing. They trade leg kicks and O'Hearn lands a body kick. Gulfin lands a right to the body and a left hook to the head. Big overhand from Gulfin. They clinch against the cage and O'Hearn throws a knee to the body. Another right to the body followed by a left to the head for Gulfin. Solid combo lands for O'Hearn. Gulfin lands a leg kick, but O'Hearn follows up with a right hand. Takedown attempt from Gulfin is well defended by O'Hearn who then lands some bombs and bloodies Gulfin. A failed shot from Gulfin leads to O'Hearn landing in full mount and landing vicious ground and pound to close out the round.

10-9 O'Hearn

Round 3:

Both fighters are bloody. This is a war. O'Hearn is doing a better job keeping her range, but Gulfin lands another big left. Gulfin's right eye is leaking badly and these two keep trading. Leg kicks from Gulfin and O'Hearn keeps pumping out her jab. Gulfin lands a takedown, but O'Hearn is right up. Stiff jab and a right hand land for O'Hearn. A 3 punch combo lands for Gulfin. Both try spinning back fists, but neither lands. Another takedown attempt from Gulfin is stuffed by O'Hearn. At this point, they are just winging punches back and forth with neither fighter showing any interest in slowing down. Gulfin attempts an ill advised takedown which is stuffed and O'Hearn lands ground and pound to finish the round,

Ariana Melendez (1-1, Fusion X-cel) vs Danielle Hindley (4-2, South Shore Sportfighting)
Women's Strawweight

Round 1:

Front kick from Hindley and a right hand from Melendez. Leg kick from Hindley and a right hand return from Melendez. Clinch from Hindley and she attempts to pull guard, but Melendez wants to stand. Left hand lands for Melendez. Side kick lands for Hindley and Melendez lands a right, but it's mostly blocked. Left kick to the body lands for Hindley and Melendez lands a left hand. Hindley lands a left of her own and Melendez forces her against the cage. Both fighters flurry, buyt nothing clean lands for either. Hindley scores a takedown. Hindley attempts a toe hold and gets close, but Melendez defends and works on a guillotine.

Round 2:

Big left from Hindley just misses. They clinch and Hindley pulls guard. Hindley lands short punches from the bottom. Melendez is pushing Hindley against the cage, but is just holding on. Melendez stands up and kicks the legs. Tref steps in and stands them up. The two trade punches and Hindlley gets the clinch against the cage. Melendez reverses position and Hindley jumps guard before Melendez slams her to the mat. They stand and Hindley lands a left hand. Left hands land for both. Two big rights land for Melendez and she scores a takedown to finish the round.

10-9 Melendez

Round 3:

Front kick from Hindley. Melendez misses with 2 big lefts. Leg kick lands for Hindley. Melendez is walking forward butnot throwing much. Hindley lands a left. Melendez responds with 2 good punches of her own. Good jab from Hindley. Left hand lands for Melendez, followed by a right. Solid left jab from Melendez gets through. Good short left from Hindley and Melendez answers with a right. Solid leg kick from Melendez. Big shots from Melendez as Hindley backs up to the cage. Solid combination from Melendez and a big right hand. Hindley responds with a left of her own and takes Melendez's back as the round comes to an end.

Result: Ariana Melendez defeats Danielle Hindley via unanimous decision


Don Shainis (9-3, Glory MMA) vs Jay Ellis (16-104, Red Schaffer MMA)
Lightweight

Round 1:

Ellis attempts a flying knee, but Shainis gets a body lock and a big slam. Shainis is in Ellis' guard and Ellis attempts to elevate with butterfly hooks, but Shainis moves to mount and finishes the fight with ground and pound.

Result: Don Shainis defeats Jay Ellis via 1st round TKO


Marty Navis (5-1, Lauzon MMA) vs Adriano Capitulino (8-4, Fusion X-cel)
Catchweight (180 lbs) Co-Main Event

Round 1:

Overhand right from Navis just misses. Capitulino forces Navis into the cage. They separate and Navis just misses another right hand before Capitulino scores a double leg. Capitulino tries to mount, but Navis retains guard. Capitulino moves to side mount and into mount. Now back in side control, Capitulino is controlling position, but not doing much damage. Two hammerfists land for Capitulino and Navis gets to his feet. Navis forces Capitulino against the cage as the round concludes.

Round 2:

They trade leg kicks and clinch against the cage. Big takedown for Capitulino and he transitions to mount. Capitulino locks in a rear naked choke and forces Navis to tap.

Result: Adriano Capitulino defeats Marty Navis via 2nd round RNC


Johnny Campbell (21-14, South Shore Sportfighting) vs Aaron Lacey (7-2, Nostos MMA)
Featherweight Main Event

Round 1:

Leg kicks for Lacey and Campbell wings an overhand right. Big right hand lands for Campbell. Huge takedown for Campbell and Lacey attempts a guillotine, but Campbell is out and working from top position. Campbell moves to side control and now crucifix. He lands an elbow, but Lacey recovers to half guard. Back to side control and Campbell attempts an Americana before moving to full mount. He's landing elbows now and he's mauling Lacey on the ground. Back mount More elbows from Campbell and Lacey manages to get back to guard.

10-8 Campbell

RESULT: Johnny Campbell wins via doctor stoppage at 5:00 of the 1st round
