CES MMA announced yesterday that it would be returning to New England to hold back to back events on August 6th and 7th. Friday the 6th will showcase MMA fights, while the event on the 7th will be a boxing event. Both events will take place at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
CES most recently held an event in Florida in April while the New England combat sports scene was still on hiatus. That event at a sprinkling of New England based fighters competing, with a good amount of Florida based fighters competing as well. You can expect these cards in August to predominantly feature northeast based fighters. As fights are announced we'll be posting them here, so stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks.
So as of now we have a plethora of New England based events on the schedule over the next few months, with most of them taking place in the Springfield area. This is going to be a damn fun summer to be a combat sports fan here in New England. Here's what has been scheduled so far:
