Vermont's only sanctioned MMA Promotion DonnyBrooke Fight Promotions held it's sixth event last Saturday,February 19th at the Barre Civic Canter in Barre, Vermont. Battle in Barre 6 included a mix of both Muay Thai and MMA contests, headlined by a Pro Small Glove Muay Thai match between talented English striker Matt "The Blackpool Ripper" Probin and New York combat sports veteran Mike Taylor, the first Professional Small Glove Muay Thai match of it's kind, here in New England. Eleven total fights made it to the DonnyBrooke cage last Saturday and below are the official results provided to us by the promotion.
Amateur MMA - Catchweight (220 lbs.)- Ryan Sweeney (518 Muay Thai) defeats Terrohn Richardson (Rutland BJJ) by TKO at 2:43 of the Second Round.
Amateur Muay Thai - Welterweight (170 lbs.) - Erik Nelson (First Class MMA) defeats David Serate (Combat Fitness) by Split-Decision.
Amateur Muay Thai - Welterweight (170 lbs.) - David Klemis (Burgess MMA) defeats James Hebert (Independent) by TKO at 1:25 of the First Round.
Amateur MMA - Lightweight (155 lbs.) - Tyree King (Granite City MMA) defeats Cody Toby (Independent) by TKO at 1:16 of the Second Round.
Amateur Muay Thai - Welterweight (170 lbs.) - Austen Allen (Plattsburgh Combat Sports) defeats Mike Dyer (Burgess MMA) by TKO at 1:53 of the First Round.
