Video: CES Welterweight World Champion Billy Goff reacts to Title win at CES 66

Consensus number one Welterweight in New England; Dexter MMA's Billy Goff (6-2) added a second regional title to his resume Friday night at Bally's Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island, when he made a statement with a first round TKO of Gary Balletto Jr. (7-3) at CES 66. In one of the most highly anticipated Welterweight bouts in recent New England MMA history, Billy Goff proved that his is a breed all his own when it comes to New England Welterweights. Goff needed just 4:35 of the first round to batter Balletto into a bloody mess with elbows, as blood began to leak into the eyes of Balletto it was clear the end was near and the stoppage came with 25 seconds left in the opening round of the evenings co-main event.

With the CES belt now securely in the corner of Goff and his team from Dexter MMA the future appears extremely bright for the 23 year old from Groton, Connecticut, he caught up with the New England MMA team backstage at CES 66 following his title win to discuss what could be next for the Double Champ. Goff has made a quick ascent up the New England ladder and could very well be the regions top unsigned prospect entering 2022 and beyond.
