Breaking News: Uncasville, CT it is now official, with Bellator returning for another run at the Mohegan Sun Arena there are now two New England fighters off the board, as Bellator 256 on April 9th will now host a preliminary bout between Tri-Force MMA's John Douma (4-2, 1-1 Bellator MMA) and Golden Falcon/Fighting Arts Academy's Will "Sriracha" Smith (3-2, 0-1 Bellator MMA). These two talented New England prospects will settle the score at 135 pounds as both men look to bounce back from losses inside the Bellator cage their last time out.

John Douma will make his first appearance since October of 2019 when he lost a hard fought decision to fellow bantamweight prospect Jornel Lugo (5-0) at Bellator 232. Douma is anxious to unveil the beast that has been being forged over the last year and a half training with the crew at Tri-Force MMA. Of course we had a chance to see a glimpse of that beast at the recent Enigma Invitational, where Douma looked very strong against an always more than game veteran in Johnny "Cupcakes" Campbell, submitting Cupcakes via Rear Naked Choke.

Douma makes he long awaited return to the cage against a very familliar foe, in fellow New England upstart; Will "Sriracha" Smith who trains with his own share of killers between time at Golden Falcon and Nick Newell's Fighting Arts Academy. Smith will be looking to bounce back off a loss of his own at Bellator 244 in August of 2020 when he was finished by ground and pound against what proved to be a very tough Lucas Brennan (4-0). "Sriracha" hopes to put his name back on top of the list of 135 pound New England prospects as he locks horns with the rising star John Douma at Bellator 256.
