Nate "The Snake" Andrews (16-3) did his job and came in on weight for his lightweight scrap tomorrow night at Bellator 254. Unfortunately, his opponent wasn't as professional. Brazilian Goiti Yamauchi (25-4) stepped on the scales at 162.8 pounds - 6.8 pounds over the contracted weight of 155 pounds. Understandably so, Andrews refused a new contracted weight, and will have to wait to get back in the cage. Andrews has spent the last year and a half fighting for PFL, and was 1-2 with the mid-major promotion, dropping both contests to Chris Wade. "The Snake" hasn't fought in over a year, and was looking to make a statement in his promotional debut with Bellator. Hopefully they can book Andrews on another upcoming card against an opponent who will plan on making weight.
