Combat Zone 78 : 4 Titles on the line and over 20 fights make CZ78 a must see event!

Ah the Holiday season is upon us and Combat Zone is definitely in the giving spirit. UFC's Calvin Katter is staying busy and with the help of matchmaker Jerome B and the whole team at CZ, they plan to host their 4'th and final event of 2022.

Let's dive right into the Main Event! NE Cartel is here in Manchester to take over Combat Zone and Tom Pagliarulo is featured in the main event. Pagliaro is on a tear in the local scene racking up a 4-1 record with his only loss coming to the current CES LW champion. The Phenom is always up for putting on a show as all of his wins have come before the bell and by stoppage. Tom's skills will be put to the test as Lionel Young brings the experience and a 4-2 record in his last 6 fights with all 4 of those coming by stoppage, this fight will not go the distance!

CO-Main brings a very interesting matchup as another New England Cartel member looks to make a statement. Undefeated New Hampshire fighter Nick Fiore takes his perfect 5-0 record with 5 stoppages to the cage against a veteran like Stephan Stengal. Do not let stengals record fool you! Stengals last fight he was able to get the KO in just 14 seconds of Round number 1. Will Stengals Experience be the deciding factor or will Fiore continue to do what he does best and finish the fight withough needing the judges?

New England's 145 pound division will have their eyes on this one as Maya Stewart makes her Professional Debut. Stewart amassed an impressive 5-1 record as an amateur with an 80% finsh rate, She is more then ready to make her pro debut. Fighting out of Fairfax Virginia, she steps into her opponents backyard with one goal in mind. GET THE FINISH! Welcoming Maya to the Pro's is Massachusetts's own Fernanda Araujo. Undefeated in 2022 with 1 MMA and 1 Boxing match, Arujo is ready for her third pro competition of the year and hopes to continue this undefeated 2022 streak!

After securing a 3-1 record as an amateur , Lochard has had a rough start to the pro circut going 0-2, but like the old saying goes. Third times a charm! Lochard looks to get back in the win column. Rob Ovalle is looking to stop that from happening . Ovalle went 5-2 as an amateur and when he went to the pros, his first opponent was Jay Bakanowski. Ovalle has balls jumping into the cage with a beast like him for a first pro fight. Ovalle is also looking for his first pro win. Who goes home with thier hand raised for the first time as a pro?

Before the Pro's take the cage, New Champions will be crowned

CZ 125 Woman's Flyweight Amateur MMA Title

One of the most highly anticipated fights of the night see's Chelsea Tucker making her return to the cage after 3 years to continue her winning streak. Tucker recently sat down with The Room Podcast and talked about changes in training, moving back home, and championship fights that almost were. Now its time to take on Autumn Newcomb. Newcomb brings a 2-1 record to this title fight. After grinding out 2 tough decision victorites againt tough opponents, we know she has the gas tank in her to bring the fight into deep waters. Tucker only needing the judges once in her victories is going to look to stop it sooner than later. Massive amateur title fight that the crowd will be pumped for!

155 Men's Amateur Lightweight MMA Title

2 Fighters out of New Hampshire, Joe Movessian and Kyle Pufahl will surely have the hometown crowds behind them as they both step into the cage with the same purpose, leave that cage with the championship belt and a W. Pufahl fighting out of Nostos MMA brings a 3-1 record with all wins coming by stoppage, he is a force to be reckoned with and tonight he comes for that championship. Standing in his way is Movessian who is coming off of a MASSIVE round 1 KO in March at Combat Zone 75. I don't see this one needing the judges either! Fight of the night contender right here.
