Returning to Plymouth Mass this weekend is NY's Jake "Hitman" Hixenbaugh. This will be the fourth time stepping into the Cage Titians octagon. Staying busy and fighting all comers, most of Jakes fights have been against undefeated prospects. Most of New England fight fans will recognize him from the rivalry he recently had. Hixenbaugh was able to come out victorious in that saga. Now he returns to staple his name in this highly talented division on the east coast.
The Combat Cowboy Jeff Clark had the opportunity to catch up with the Hitman before his fight this weekend at Cage Titans 64
How does your mindset change going into your next fight, riding the momentum of such a significant victory?
"It doesn’t really change still the same mindset of winning. Just less emotion with this fight which is good but everything is the same this is just the next guy I gotta get through"

2. What was the first form of martial arts that you took and why did you start?
"Wrestling, I wrestled since I was 4 years old. My dad got my older brothers and I in it when we were at a young age and it was our main sport growing up."
3. If you could choose any animal to represent your fighting style, which animal would it be and why?
"If I had to choose any animal I’d have to say an octopus. Because they can adapt to anything and move quick plus my grappling resembles them I’d say"
4. If you could give your younger self one piece of advice about your fighting career, what would it be?
"Just trust the process we’re gonna be at the top and there’s no doubt in my mind about that"
5. How do you see the fight this weekend ending?
"Me taking out another household name out there in Plymouth in stunning fashion"
