One of Maine's biggest prospects is current NEF Featherweight champion, Josh Harvey (7-1-1), but he hasn't seen the inside of a cage for almost 2 years due to the covid pandemic and bad luck. Harvey will finally (hopefully) end this long layoff Friday night in Portland at NEF 45, and he's looking to give the fans what they want.....a standup war that ends with Harvey standing over his opponent.
Harvey, now training under the tutelage of Primo Bellarosa at Vision Quest Muay Thai in Newport, Maine, stopped by The Room to catch up with us and talk about the upcoming bout. Although he isn't guaranteed to fight until that cage door closes behind him, Harvey is ready to make a serious statement and punch his ticket to the next level of the sport.
