NEMMA is happy to announce that an OG of the New England MMA scene has joined our team. Dan Bonnell has worn plenty of different hats during his time around the fight game. A former fighter, media member, manager, matchmaker, and color commentator, Bonnell brings a wealth of experience to the table, and we are truly thrilled to have him part of the NEMMA team!
Bonnell started fighting professionally back in 2006 and put together an 11-10 record, fighting mostly under the WCF banner. His last fight was in late 2012 at Cage Titans 12. Dan also wore the hat of matchmaker for World Championship Fighting (WCF), before putting on headphones and color commentating for New Hampshire's Combat Zone promotion.
Bonnell was also instrumental in a few local media endeavors as well; writing for NortheastMMA.net, and then restarting MassMMA.com when the former outlet closed up shop. He's interviewed fighters, created rankings, and covered live events throughout his tenure as a media member in the region.
