New Hampshire's Caron Inks Deal with PFL MMA

Travis Lizotte "Full Contact Writer"

Manchester, New Hmpshire's newly minted CES Middleweight World Champion; Tim "The Bear" Caron (13-5 TIMS MMA/Burgess MMA) will forgo defending his CES MMA title (which he captured in March with a second round submission of Fran Collins at CES 72) as he signs to compete in the up coming season of the Professional Fighters League (PFL) as a Light-Heavyweight. A staple in the New England Middleweight division, and currently #1 Ranked New England MMA Middleweight, Caron has enjoyed great success during his eight and a half year pro career, competing for New England promotions Combat Zone and CES MMA along the way. Caron has spent the last several years on the cusp of making a big name for himself worldwide, compiling three wins for Bellator MMA and competing on Dana White's Contender Series.

Caron hinted this week, on his personal social media, that big news was coming for the 35 year old New Hampshire native and that news was dropped this morning when his management team Topgame Management, lead by Tyson Chartier, announced that the CES Champion had indeed signed a deal with PFL MMA. PFL which operates on a sport-season format where fighters compete in regular season, playoff and championship bouts is recognized worldwide and broadcast on the ESPN family of networks. This is yet another huge step for "The Bear" and his storied career, as the most dangerous New England Middleweight in recent memory, fights for his shot at the PFL Million Dollar prize this season.

Congratulations to Tim Caron and his team as they join the PFL Light-Heavyweight roster, getting the opportunity to display "The Bear's" skills during the 2023 PFL season for all the world to see. Caron will lock horns with a battle tested Impa Kasanganay (12-3) when the PFL 4 season begins June 8th in Atlanta, Georgia.
