Piersma talks Enigma Invitational V & his controversial last fight

Jonathan "War Hawk" Piersma (4-0) is making the trip to New England from Rochester, NY this Friday to compete in the Enigma Invitational V in Windham, New Hampshire. The undefeated MMA welterweight prospect (4-0, 4 submissions) will be taking on New Jersey's Sean Yadimarco in a 15 minute EBI match on the main card. Piersma will be one of many high-level grapplers in the room on Friday in southern New Hampshire, as the card is littered with grappling studs from the northeast.

"War Hawk" also talked about his most recent MMA fight where he defeated Kris Vereen via guillotine at :41 of the 1st round. A dominant performance overshadowed by a poor decision to overturn the result a week later to a no contest. I've spoken to Piersma's management and they have confirmed they are appealing the Executive Director's decision to the athletic commission for proper summation of the bout.

Jonathan Piersma is one of the fastest rising welterweight prospects in the country, and he's bringing his grappling talents to Enigma Invitational 5 on Friday in what should be an awesome bout.
