Nate Grimard & Anthony Vasta talk Featherweight Pro Debut at NEF 46

Nostos MMA's Nathaniel Grimard (Pro Debut, 4-1 Amateur) and Defensive Edge's Anthony Vasta (Pro Debut, 1-1 Amateur) will make their Professional Featherweight debuts, against one another, February 12th at NEF 46: Decade of Dominance. Former NEF Amateur Featherweight Champion; Nathaniel Grimard suffered the only loss of his Amateur career last time out at NEF 45, against a very talented Billy "The Kid" Wilson (7-1), relinquishing his NEF Featherweight strap to the 24 year old Jackson Wink product by Unanimous Decision. Grimard talks about his decision to turn pro following his November loss to Wilson and what its been like training along side Head Coach Devin Powell and New England MMA veteran Aaron Lacey (6-2) as he gets ready to replace Caleb Hall (4-0) in a Professional Lightweight scrap against 15 fight veteran Jerome Mickle (4-11) at NEF 46.

Grimard hits the pro circuit for the very first time against fellow pro debutante and Connor Barry understudy, Defensive Edge's Anthony Vasta. The 22 year old Vasta explains how Covid played a major role in his decision to turn pro, but that does not sway his confidence level; "We're completely ready for this" Vasta told our Steve Domenico, as he prepares to enter enemy territory at NEF 46 against Nathaniel Grimard.
